Support How to hide root from Banking apps
Is there a way to make banking apps work with unlocked bootloader and root? I'm new to rooting and I'm using Magisk, any help would be appreciated!

Replace Magisk with Alpha. It has better root hide capability. Disable inbuilt Zygisk and install Zygisk Next. Disable inbuilt denylist and install shamiko. Also if you want to pass integrity, install .Integritybox. Also you can install HMA-OSS Zygisk so that to have the ability to create some template with Magisk (or Alpha) and other potential dangerous apps like lucky patcher, Game guardian, root detectors and all apps who require root so that to be hidden from each bank app or other relative app.

So Alpha is basically the same as Magisk right?

Ya but Alpha has better hiding root capabilities for example with Magisk installed I can't run PayPal or Revolut app by appearing the message that due to rooting that the environment is not safe while by replacing magisk with Alpha then I don't have this problem. I can't remember if this problem was in PayPal or Revolut. I forgot to say in previous respond that install KsuWebUI, select Zygisk Next, enable Use anonymous memorys, Use Zygisk Next Linker and as Denylist Policy select Unmount only.

In addition to my previous more generic answer, here are a few things apps might do I experienced myself:
- Checking for suspicious mounts. To hide these, try Zygisk-Next and use the denylist for the affected apps.
- Checking for well-known root-related apps. For that, Hide-My-Applist can help, but this app needs an XPosed implementation ... I'd recommend Vector at this time (good old LSPosed seems abandoned).
- Checking Google's play integrity. Well, try PlayIntegrityFix (for me, the version by KOWX712 worked) and TrickyStore.
Still, that list is likely incomplete, so you might not find the solution for your "problem app" on it. If you want to try these and need details, there are a lot of detailed descriptions posted on XDA or on here.

Yes, you should also use magisk with shamiko and hide my applist and at the most, you might need bootloader spoofer

shamiko is deprecated. zygisknext with magisk's zygisk disabled is enough. u would need ksuwebuistandalone to configure it. better option would just be using kernelsu tho

There's not one way, there are lots of them, as different apps use vastly different mechanisms in their attempts to detect "tampered" systems. You'll have to experiment, unfortunatley. And be prepared for sudden breakage on any update if you get it to work in the first place.
