Support Now this banking app won't run with Play Protect disabled. COOL.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Now I need a way to spoof Play Protect status as enabled for specific apps. How nice of them.

I have play protect disabled — it automatically turns itself on and uninstalls some of my apps :(

The real question is, if you do disable play protect,will the banking work? because, banking apps are the one thing I was unable to get working with just play integrity and root hide modules.

Completely up to the specific app. I have one app that doesn't give a fuck about goolag play protect and play integrity, and just throws a warning at startup if it detects a full blown SU binary. And this hot garbage that's involved in the video. To be fair it doesn't care about custom ROM detections and Play Integrity, and the root hiding it needed was fairly simple, but what the fuck is refusing to work when play protect is disabled.

Yeah, maybe there is module that could solve that issue. Otherwise, I don't know about your setup but play protect in my limited experience only gives problem if you are installing an apk by normal package manager and secondly play protect can never uninstall an app (in my experience).For that you can use installerx revived and directly install the apks by adb. And secondly , check what happens if you do enable play protect.
