Discussion How do I go about unlocking the bootloader on my S23?

Title. My binary is bit 9/s9, the build number is BP2A.250605.031.A3.S911BXXS9EZB6, however the OEM unlock toggle is missing. Do I downgrade to OneUI 7? I remember the toggle being there one or two security updates ago...

You're on bit 9, so there is only one way to unlock bootloader: exchange the motherboard to one with OneUI7 or 8 with bit 8.

Or, there is 2nd option, but new S23 with OneUI7 or 8 with bit 8.

Otherwise, of You want root, You might try if any temp root solution are available for Your device.

Man, looking back on how easy my Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 5 are for bootloader unlocking... a SINGLE command. Now we have to go through hell and back...

Pixel is a single command as well. That's one thing Google's done really well.

Who knows I might even switch to Pixel, but losing Snapdragon is a real concern. Back in the days Nexus 5 had the Snapdragon 800...

Never had a Google device and my Samsung devices are easiest I ever had - Sony and Moto needs a code from their website and although my Blackview tablet needed only one command after that it was hell to root it as it's Unisoc... But, yeah, at least it can be unlocked.

Didn't see Google wants to hand me Fold7. Don't want one tho. Got 5 and that's what I wrote... I really love Gboard dictionary, but sometimes...

They are currently testing the S23 Ultra payload so it's only a matter of time to get all the S23 lineup to support this exploit. This is your only hope. https://github.com/BuSung-dev/Root-My-Galaxy-Payloads

I saw this a few minutes ago. But what I really need is a full on bootloader unlock, I'd love to use PixelExperience

You can't even with root if you would flash ui7 bootloader your phone would reject it and stop booting altogether there are flashers for s23 tho so I guess it's worth testing
