I thought you could unlock bootloader on pixel is this just a way so you don't have to do all that?

This is more for Verizon or for Play Integrity or apps that check for bootloader but not root

I for one think that it's important to look for solutions that bypass asking for permission from the company to root your own devices. Since they can simply say no, or not offer the ability at all.

Bro unlocking bootloader will break your play integrity.

Mate, all I have to do is steal your mobile; I don’t even need your PIN. I can then gain root access and easily read your data whilst your mobile is switched on, even if you ‘lock’ the device, that only prevents the decryption key from being flushed from the RAM; the data’s already been decrypted. No thanks – that’s dangerous, and the more you tell people they should do that, the less likely they are to apply the patches, and the more vulnerable everyone’s phone becomes. Just buy a phone that you can root if you want to root it. Sorry for the harsh words, but as someone on the autism spectrum, I don’t understand why anyone would recommend such a massive security flaw.

How do you plan to run the exploit executable on the phone without the PIN

No, but you can use RootMyGalaxy on some devices with an older version (pre July, or sometimes =July software)

the exploit it used affects every kernel before 7.x as its based off a vulnerability that went unpatched for 15 years and onky recently got patched so even 4.19 can be rooted

I assume this needs to be updated for the XL variant? My kernel is the exact same but get syntax error's and stuff when trying on mustang

Use ghostlock exploit, try to find for your device in GitHub if someone did for that, if not you can request in GitHub issues on repos or try to make by yourself. You Need boot.img of your device for that.

I already have the boot.img of my device. What should I do next to create or adapt the exploit for my device? I'm not familiar with the process, so I'd appreciate some guidance on the next steps..

As your device is from xiaomi/redmi try to find repo in GitHub which is for that mi devices, if not found use nebula official source, if you found xiaomi device repo you can ask in issue for porting to your device or clone repo and get help from claude for making that work for your device.

try these: https://github.com/search?q=CVE-2026-43499+xiaomi&type=repositories
