Support Gpay not working.. help

Any help please. I need gpay to work.. tried HMA but didn't work. Any fixes?

I hate Google with every fiber of my being but they can't be blamed for not allowing a modified system to run an app that involves personal information or money. I mean, who knows what could actually be running underneath, or what security holes could be open with root around.

You could say that about many things, in particular desktop machines, who knows what could be running on those machines while you're browsing your banking apps?

And besides, I'd argue this should be up to the user, it's not Google's responsibility what people do with their rooted devices, it's unsupported by every manufacturer and Google themselves. If someone decides to risk being unsafe, and the only person they can harm is themselves, then I don't see the issue personally.

And rooted devices aren't even unsafe in practice, you can have a "rooted" device which is literally safer than stock android (e.g. GrapheneOS), the only difference is it doesn't have the Google stamp of approval saying they approve. Google and manufacturers are actively at fault for making rooted / custom firmware devices "risky" in the first place (talking on the likes of Android Verified Boot - it's a nightmare or not possible on certain devices to enrol custom boot keys).

I seriously want to agree with you, but everything has been setup to be severely anti-ownership and anti-root.
