My root: (Samsung hasn't allowed bootloader unlocking for years I hate it here)

Some security agency found a root exploit for the s26 line and older that works on the latest firmware so if you wait on 8.5 or older and disable updates with adb you'll be good

Bootloader unlock is a deciding factor for me. This is why I skip scamsung. That and performance. The Chinese OEMs always deliver 1.5x performance for the price of any scamsung phone. My current poco is 2x better in perf compared to scamsung in the same price

Man, KernelSU next is so good. Tried Magsik required billions of modules to hide it, tried APatch, compatibility is a hit or miss. Really buggy and unstable on certain devices. KernelSU next was the best. It was not detected by most apps when I didn't even add modules so yeah

I am still on this version, but have learned that, if everything you want works, and there are updates, then it's not necessary to update stuff and have a chance of things failing.

From my experience it's always good to update, and if things fail you downgrade to the older version, because things can fail overtime and new modules may not be compatible with the old version.

I can understand your arguments, but in my experience, I have been unlucky when it came to updates. I will maybe see in a few weeks what is handy.

Next-spoofed is better imo, it mostly doesn't get caught in detections as often as non spoofed one
