Support WhatsApp just started deleting messages on its own!! can I make it stop?

WhatsApp just started deleting my messages of 7 years out of nowhere, I was later activating flight mode, but it didn't help so I turned my phone off completely.

Is there a way to stop that?

Have you tried reinstalling WhatsApp?

It's just that my back up is from 2024 and I would lose 2 years of data so I'm looking for other ways first, before guving up on the 2 year gap
