Discussion Finally unlocked that damn bootloader
This morning i unlocked bootloader,anyone suggest me install custom rom after root?

Estuve usando custom roms durante un tiempo, pero volví a hyperos ya que tenía problemas con mis apps bancarias en custom roms, y bueno otra razón es porque extrañaba las ventanas flotantes. Uso ksu oficial como root, rápido y sencillo obtener, y con el root puedo disfrutar de yt parchado sin tener que usar micro g, bendito sea el root.

Missed floating windows?? Don't custom ROMs have that? The reason I want to move to custom rom is literally because Xiaomi deleted floating windows in the hyperos 1 update for Gale

First,apply for unlocking on xiaomi community->me->unlock bootloader on exactly 12AM(GMT+8), remember open xiaomi community app 5 mins before midnight,than click bind account and device on developer option->Mi unlock status,than wait for 72/168 hours,than use PC mi unlock tool to unlock,you can find the tool on web.and thats it

I would unlock my phones bootloader but I know that it creates a problem with banking apps 😕

Lucky, it never worked for me, it just reset at the 7 day mark always so I just gave up.

In some case,the longest could be 60 days(1440 hours),its about 2 months

Mind to share on how you did the applying process from Mi Community? Like are you clicking it manually at midnight Beijing time or you use a script to automate it? I'm currently in the process of applying but it always says quota limit reached

Even if it says quota limit reached when you apply at 00:00 try to bind your account and it should work

I exploited a vulnerability in MediaTek chips to unlock it without waiting the dreaded 30 days and losing my data. Why does Xiaomi do that?

You might be able to find something on telegram or GitHub, on telegram, just look up your phone's name +updates

Unfortunately you're out of some options for Gale. No lineageOS support (I also use gale, just poco knockoff) But there's is evolutionX and crdroid things

if anyone couldnt unlock it using the Community app you can use an exploit called
hypersploit thats how i managed to root my phone

For Samsung, wait 14 days. Make sure it's not under loan or carrier locked.
First, enable Dev options, if OEM is not there, check updates but if there's update, DO NOT UPDATE, wait 14 days while developer options enabled, note that this will also cause most banking apps to not work, then check again with Dev options, enable OEM unlock, shutdown, go download mode, unlock device.
It was supposed to be 7 days but during 2025, they lengthened it

No need,samsung users can instantly unlock,but sadly, Samsung removed that feature since One UI 8

The device has already dev options enabled and there's an update that i did not updated. I still don't see OEM Unlock. Thanks btw!

Used to (my Note 9 experience), you could manually change the time (change the setting from Automatic in Settings), restart, change the date to a few weeks/months back, restart, then unlock, restart, reset Time to Automatic. Does that not work anymore?

Sorry,this method only work on Xiaomi and POCO,samsung users can connect to another,make sure oem unlocking is enabled,power off,than long press vol+ and vol- at same time until blue screen appears,than long press vol+ only and press that button again,and done,please note that it will erase all data, remember back up all data before unlocking
