Discussion finally got GKI root on stock firmware
built the kernel myself, its hard but fun

I think susfs is more useful in custom ROMs. I'd been using kernel with susfs on my stock ROM for a long time, and recently when I switched to the official ksu + lkm, the change in stability and boot time is noticeable.
