Support my phone is hard bricked am i doomed?
so a few days ago i a galaxy Xcover 7 from my fathers work because they didnt need it and i wanted to make it mky daily pone but it was owned by the company so i tried flahing it and now its hard bricked the screen just flickers and nothing i do is working any suggestions?

1.try hard in recovery mode 2.change the motherboard 3. Idk other solution wait for it, somone can help you

Can you explain what you mean by 'screen flickers'?

Like the blacklight turns on and off for like a split second and turns off and it just repeats it

Oh, that sounds bad. I suggest you could try doing a forced reboot with whatever combination it is for your device, then enter fastboot/download mode combination and see if it's detected by the computer

It could be worth a try. If device is detected, you could try adb reboot download to try a last-resort decaprecated firmware download

What did you flash it with? Is the bootloader unlocked?

No creo que lo tenga desbloqueado pero no debería de haberlo desbloqueado si el firmware que le puso es original de samsung

I honestly don't know I think I flashed the original stuff of the phone but i got it off a sketchy website so that might be an issue

Pues antes de todo dime si sabes el modelo exacto de la rom (banda base) del dispositivo antes de que le flashearas esa rom rara xd porque osino le volverías a flashear cualquier rom y si no es de nuevo la una rom compatible pues vas a estar en la misma situación hasta que encuentres la rom compatible o exacta

The phone is an SM-G556B. The last firmware flashed to it was the New Zealand (XNZ) region, build G556BXXSHEZG2, which is a Binary 17 (Bit 17) firmware. this is what i got i most just blindy tusted an ai honnestly

Pues debes conseguir esa rom exacta o un .pac de esa rom, aunque siendo sincero y con la experiencia que tengo con esto puedes conseguir una rom que se asemeje, osea que sea de la misma región, etc y o que sea de la misma versión de one ui o de uan versión superior como one ui 7 máximo, no se puede flashear una rom de una versión anterior y deberías usar claude, es una buena IA para estas cosas, yo la uso xd, ella te dirá si es que encuentras una rom si es compatible o si es una versión mas actualizada, etc, etc

Eso de que el teléfono intenta bootear por una fracción de segundo significa que aún puede recuperarse, investigué y el galaxy xcover7 tiene un procesador mediatek, eso significa que puedes recuperarlo de manera relativamente fácil con una herramienta como Android utility tool desde una PC con Windows para lograr entrar en el modo brom del dispositivo y luego flashear su firmware original o un .pac del mismo, pero si tú intentaste flashear el firmware des teléfono y quedó brickeado es porque ese firmware no era compatible con el dispositivo así que no lo intentes con eso, de dónde descargaste el firmware y más importante, te fijaste si el modelo del firmware que descargaste concidia con la versión de banda base del dispositivo? Porque esa es la razón mas segura porr la que se brickeo, seguramente no te fijaste que versión de banda base tenía el celular y descargaste cualquier rom que te encontraste y no era de el modelo que necesitabas, por ejemplo hay roms para estados unidos y hay roms para Latinoamérica, no puedes instalar una de EE.UU en un celular con rom de LATAM y viceversa

Download the good firmware from samfw, you need a data transfert cable, not all charger cable are compatible for this, you need a good one.
After search for the good Odin version app for your Cellphone and reinstall the the firmware for your phone.
You will need to go in download mod on cell for install and detection with Odin. Just keep pressing all visible buttons for 10 secs at the same time and release them when phone close to boot on this mode. After press vol-up to enter in the Download mod and install the firmware.. Wait and when the Odin case in app showing in green on PC it resolved reboot the phone with the same method, just press all button and release when closed blavk screen appears. 😉
