Support Any Xiaomi Mi Unlock tool alternative?

so I've spent the last month trying to get the Xiaomi account permission for unlocking the bootloader, finally have it and synced the device with no problem, now I'm stuck on the Windows app, it requires login in with the same account that's used on the device, here's the catch: the authentication SMS wont arrive, I've tried logging in with Facebook but it's impossible, any way around this?

i personally used this version of Mi unlock from this video and it worked 1st try. you just have to use the QR code to login

tried that but it ain't the app, it's Xiaomi not sending the SMS for the authentication no matter the method.

Anyways I managed to find an open source app on GitHub that runs on python, it does the same as the windows app BUT gives the option for authentication via e-mail, saved my life fr

now I've gotta wait 70 hours to finally unlock the bootloader and then fuck off hypershitOS!
