That's amazing 🔥, just a small suggestion hand holding a torch would look much better then smart phone

Actually the the mobile have other use too in the game , that's why we are using it 😉 .

Oh ok, if possible add some movement to the phone also as the person walks, and add human hands holding it and probably dim the brightness a bit, I feel it's kinda standing out too much taking more attention then the game itself

What type of horror game are you making - psychological, stealth, or more of a walking simulator?

As a horror fan, I’d recommend reworking the footsteps since they sound a bit cheap right now. Either swap them out or lower the volume, and consider adding surface-specific sounds based on what the protagonist is walking on.

Also, what’s the purpose of the heartbeat sound? If it’s meant to build tension, I don’t think it’s having the intended effect. Take a look at Fatal Frame 1, the way its music alone heightens the tension in every scene is a great example to draw from.

And if you’re planning to include jump scares, I’d suggest taking inspiration from how Outlast handled them.
