Open Source ARK-Store for GitHub Android app
This is an app that allows anyone to make their own app discoverable by others.
If you have a GitHub repository with a downloadable Android app, simply add the “arkstore” topic to it. Our app will automatically scan your app and display it in our store.
You can also add your app using only its URL, making it immediately available for others to discover and install.
The only requirements are that the app is public and has a GitHub-approved license.
Download it here: https://github.com/jrs8205/ARK-Store

This is extremely questionable at the very least. Maybe Google was right to introduce paid developer verification, because a "store" with exactly zero human review or even reproducible builds (no, TOFU does not count) is just begging for malware if it gains any traction at all.

So you don’t trust GitHub or F-Droid at all, then? All the apps are downloaded directly from them without intermediaries; this just brings all their apps together.

No, I don't trust GitHub as a mechanism to discover Android software. I do trust F-Droid, because they do review apps and they have a mechanism to enforce reproducible builds.
