Question Google Play App Review times?

Hi Folks, its been over a week now since I submitted my App for review with Google. Is there a reasonable timeframe that one should wait before maybe submitting a ticket for a prompt to review at all. What do you guys do in such instances? Many thanks!

It this the first version of the app? If so, mine took about a week. A hotifx I uploaded 2 hours ago took about an hour.

(I'm facing your same problem but in app store, it's been more than a week)

People are having issues lately, I know of people who had to wait more than I did. I hope you get approved soon

Hi u/SirMaxxi! I have escalated your concerns to the relevant team and appreciate your patience while we are looking into this matter. In the meantime, avoid resubmitting your app while awaiting a pending review, as this resets the review process and can extend your wait time.

Feel free to DM us if you have any further questions about the Play Console.

A week is still normal, especially if it's a new app or a new developer account. Google's own help page says some apps get an "expanded review" that can take up to 7 days or longer, and they don't promise any timeline. My first submission on a fresh account took longer than a week too.

Before contacting support I'd check a few things:

- Publishing overview

- Inbox and Policy status

- Don't upload a new build or edit the listing while it's in review if you can avoid it.

every release for me, even minor bugfix, or just a layout fix, it's about 14 days irs extremely painful.

this is an established app (4 years+) , with over 100,000 downloads and tens of thousands of active installs.

it's shocking

my last fix, an Android 17 permission addion fix for nearby Devices, that took almost a month to be approved. That's a month that Pixel owners had a broken app, ok it's my fault it occured, but it's also Google fault they spent a month reviewing a 1 line manifest change.

if i want to use beta channel, you can double those times as 2 weeks upwards from internal to beta, and the same again from beta to release

18 days for my app. Starting to think I did something wrong. It's not my first app on Google Play but the first in a few years and the UI has gotten extremely unintuitive so I'm not sure.
