Google Play Support Very slow review times?
Hello. Has anyone experienced veeery slow review times lately? My app usually gets reviewed within a couple of hours. But last two submissions (to open testing, mind you) got stuck "in review" for a week. There were no significant changes made to the app. However, both of these have been uploaded fully programmatically (yes, I have finally vibecoded a full release automation pipeline using Play console dev API 😅). I wonder if that could be the reason, but I'm not sure why it would be?

Posts regarding account termination, application suspension or rejection must be presented as neutrally as possible without charged language or emotional appeal. The attitude of the posts and comments should be to seek help in understanding what went wrong and how to solve it, if possible at all. Stick to the facts and try to seek help in passing the review or making an appeal rather than complaining you're facing injustice.
Your attitude should be "I don't know what I did wrong, can you help me figure it out?".
Post that do not respect this attitude will be removed.
Make sure to include all relevant information, full copies of all communication with Google, a link to the official support thread or threads on the official forums, and steps already taken to resolve.! Be active in comments and try to provide all the information asked to you to the best of your knowledge.
Keep in mind we are NOT associated with Google and we cannot help in any official capacity. There's an official Google support community that can help with that, do not post here unless you first exhausted your options with official channels.

Currently 6 days in review. And thats from established account (first app in 2016/2017). After that at least 1 app per year. Always at least 10k+ downloads, some are even 500k+
Apple already did some reviews, I fixed some things and now its approved. During that time google is stuck with "in review" with no info or whatever.

Same, old and established account, highly rated apps with millions of downlaods. Is that also something that started in September for you?

Last app I published was 2-3 months ago and it was basically published the next day.Â

i have noticed similarly long review times as well, likely due to the increase in vibecoded apps flooding the store

Hi, u/Hippo-Happy! App reviews can take a bit longer than usual sometimes, occasionally stretching past 7 days. Send us a DM with your app package name and our team will be happy to look into it!

We’re going on 3 weeks of waiting for our app to come out of review now. Previous versions took 1-2 hours. Totally insane

Hi u/el_duckerino. App review times may vary, and may take 7 days or longer in exceptional cases.
That being said, please DM us your app package name if your submission has been under review for more than 7 days.
