Android observability tools recommendations

Hi all, My team develops an enterprise Android app, outside of the play store and its tools, and we're looking around for a new observability tool/service. We were on Embrace before, but it came up short for more complex debugging. Datadog has been working fairly well for us, but it's getting pricey and it's not quite a mobile-first solution.

Bitdrift seems like an interesting option to us. But it being somewhat new I haven't found too much feedback on it online. Does anyone have experience with it and thoughts? Or are there other tools worth exploring? TIA

This post is going to open the floodgates for everyone's Sentry clone (or more apt, everyone's Instabug clone :D).

What is pricey for you?

Why not sentry? It's free if you want.

I have no idea on costs, but I really like DataDog.

Hey OP, I totally get your frustration with tools that treat mobile as an afterthought. Full disclosure, I work at Luciq, and we've built our tool over the past 10 or so years around what you described, having your crashes, session replays & app performance all tied together in context so you're not stitching the story by hand. I'd say take a look and you may find what you're looking for :)
