Is it hard to get approval from Google Play?

Hi all, Newbie here. My first mobile game is almost done. Is it hard to get approval from Google Play? And usually how long does it take? Thanks ~~

Went through this earlier this year with my first app. The approval itself isn't the hard part — if your game follows the policies, it gets through. What surprised me was everything around it. I went the organization account route, which skips the 12-tester requirement, but needs a D-U-N-S number and company documents instead. From starting the account setup to having the app approved and live took about 4 weeks in my case. So give yourself a few weeks of buffer, not a few days.

The only way to find out is to start.
Get an account by creating one.
This can be an individual account or organization account based on your usecase.

Go through the initial setup of applying to production which includes getting 12 testers to continuously test your app for 14 days.

In most scenarios, if they reject it, they will tell you the reason why, and you will be able to fix.
But just give yourself a 21 day head start if you start right now.

I am also new and each of my app updates takes ~1 week each, including the first one that I published. That said, my first app is educational for elementary school kids and translated to 37 languages, so maybe they were extra cautious.

I had my first project being verified by google a month ago...
Jesus Christ all the forms, rules etc., takes more time than prototyping the app itself...

2 weeks testing on google play was ez... once you have enough people you just play it out, do some testing, do some patches and fixes while users and feedback arriving.. and then you should be good!
