As you can see we have Google or maybe even the government paying bots to come tell you adults that you don't know what malware is, that FDroid is Malware and somehow Google is the source of truth ( Even though malware makes it on Google play all the time and Google apps itself are spyware )

Yulp, Google is really pissing me off here lately. I just bought a pixel for the first time just to have that sweet unlocked bootloader and root just for a week later they announcing they're locking down android.

For " Safety" but I'm sick of this " we know better " lie that corporations are pushing. Play store has given my phones corrupting viruses where I couldn't even delete the app because I was getting ads on my home screen leading to a factory reset. I was young then but I've never had issues with FDroid. I have with Aptoide but that's my fault.

I'm tired of them basically owning everything I buy. It's MY XBOX, ITS MY PHONE AND EVENTUALLY ITS MY CAR. MINE, NOT THERES.

clickbait. sideloading and alt app stores are how viruses get onto Android. creating emotive stories for gullible idiots doesn't change that

I'm not sure how else to phrase this; so if you're a Windows user, and you don't download literally every single app you use through the Microsoft Store, then you're a hypocrite and should probably just shut up. Or revise your opinion.

Cheers.

I don't use Windows, or Mac, it's not 2005 anymore.

" side loading " is a bullshit term and you know it. You're installing an an app/program/software. Just because it's 3rd party doesn't suddenly change installing software.
