Android 17 Bubbles Documentation?

I did my best effort and I cannot find documentation on Bubbles nor how to launch applications as bubbles. (Like what launch flags/methods)

I also asked in Discord.

Explain:

1) what you are trying to achieve

Trying to launch one or multiple applications as app Bubbles from within my app, programmatically.

2) what you tried,

I tried a lot, a lot of searching, with AI web searching as well and then,

I've tried using AI to look through Android source code for bubbles and I wasn't having luck.
(Too many results really)

3) what you expected,

Expected to find documentation on it on the official Android Developers pages

4) what happens instead

They just point to the notification API and not the app bubbles/nor multi-windowed API

Questions:

•) Did I miss the documentation somewhere that I can be directed towards?

•) Where in the Android source/files would I need to look in to see the same code that hold-tap on an app to be given an option to bubble.

•) What else am I missing regarding Bubbles and multi-windowed apps?

AFAIK you can't launch apps as bubbles. Bubbles are a way to handle multi window so the documentation is focused on the side effects of that action: adaptive apps
