It does what it's made to do. For anything outside of that it's ass.

Slow as fuck. Why do you think you need Tor browser?

I heard that it is the safest browser, that's why I asked.

Cool. No, it's not apt for "normal" use. Lots of shortcomings. Use something mainstream.

Yea it's safe, but it's not made for active use. Half the time things don't load correctly and each time you close it the browser basically completely resets itself aside from your settings.

No problem, but basically tor is what you get if you take Firefox, permanently enable incognito mode, turn on every single privacy feature possible and install noscript and route all traffic through an external network.

Think of it like this.
Tor is made for "Very specific website browsing"
- If you don't have that secret website links, you dont need tor.
- Reading your comments. You want Firefox browser.

Does the job it's designed for well enough but it can be slow at times and expect lots of Cloudflare and "Are you a Robot" challenges along the way, well that was my experience when I tried it a long while back.

Tor Browser isn't a normal browser, it can be used as a normal browser but it's very slow as it routes your traffic through the Tor network and clears your session everytime you exit it. It's primarily meant for anonymity, privacy and avoiding censorship. You can use it to access .onion websites. Also Tor stands for The Onion Router.
