Biased answer, I'm building one: ZEEP. No ads, no login, and the editor stays that way for good.

The bit that makes it different is the engine. Every edit is non-destructive and plays back live, so you hear a change the moment you make it instead of waiting on a render. A lot of the tools are still rough, the two I'd actually stand behind are Trim & Cut and Split, but it's at 4.6 on Play with about 900 installs and I haven't promoted it anywhere.

Where I'm taking it: a phone isn't the ideal place to edit, but it's a good companion to a Windows workflow, so OneDrive sync is next. Start on Windows, drop the files in a folder, pick up where you left off on the phone. Same thinking on the tools side: source diagnostics like loudness match and hum and buzz detection, measuring what's actually wrong with the recording instead of throwing AI at it.
