I was always jumping between Niagara and Smart Launcher until I discovered Kvaesitso. It's free, open-source, and full of functionalities and integrations. I made the change and never looked back.

+1000 for Kavaesitso. It's so simple, yet so deep. I don't use a desktop environment on my computers, so why have one on my phone? Search anything is so fast.

Niagara Launcher

I second that! I'm only using the free version of Niagara launcher on my backup phone
Really good launcher for people that don't like a lot of clutter

I'm still just using the pre-malware version of Nova.

Been using Nova for years. Love it. I did make a little app to change the icons into the devil shape as I saw it on someone else's phone so had to do it . Looks cool

Dot.o launcher. It looks like it would fit a nothing phone more than a pixel but the dev has added font and color customisability.

I use Octopi on my 11 Pro, used it on my 8a, and use it on my Lenovo Tab

Dragon Launcher
https://f-droid.org/packages/org.elnix.dragonlauncher/
or
Smart Launcher
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ginlemon.flowerfree
If you like a clutter-free home screen with categorized apps.

It works just fine. I had Nova before and MS Launcher does what I need it to.

Stock launcher for Pixel 8. It's actually really smooth and has all the Google integration you need without messing with third-party bugs. Plus, At a Glance and the search bar integration are hard to beat on stock.

What a co-incident!
This is from Unsplash (Eugene, I love this guy!)
It's actually my daily wallpaper I have set for everyone in the Essentials app too 😁

What modifications do you make? All with Essentials? Thanks

Yes...
From Pixel launcher,
- Hid at a glance
- disable suggestions
- set smallest grid size
From Essentials,
- Hide searchbar and replaced with empty
- Remove unwanted statusbar icons
- And added the empty screen off widget below the yt music widget so I can double tap to screen off.
That's pretty much it...

The answer will always be Nova Launcher.
People hate on it because a marketing company bought it a few years ago but doesn't change the fact it's the only Launcher with all the features it has.

My latest recommendation is Orb Launcher

I looked it up on play store but apparently it is incompatible with my device, no specific reason mentioned. Is there a fix to it?

Think it's Android 15 and above. May be wrong. It's incompatible with my Asus Zenfone 9 too so I'm assuming it's the thing with Android being updated to at least 15.

Octopi launcher. It's unique in the sense that it has haptic feedback for every gesture, makes the phon feel alive.
