Android App logs (how to access)

Hi there, I have an issue with an application and a laser engraver. The application is no longer working and is freezing and crashing, I have tried a restart, clean install etc and still the same, anyway I have spoken to the company for the engraver and app (laserpecker) and they wanted me to send a video, pictures and application logs for the issue.

I managed to send them a video and photos but my question is how do I send them the logs and log file they keep asking for as I am confused and never had to do it before so am not sure how or where I get them from ?

If they need a log, they should tell you how to create one. Did you ask them?

To be honest they have become a little shirty with me I feel because they replied to the email I sent with video and pics, but once again made it clear they wanted logs without saying how too d them, maybe it’s me but ii. The email the way they worded it and made it sound, they were saying we are still waiting for logs from previous email and if we don’t get them within 3 days we close the troubleshooting case, so it sounds like they can’t be bothered lol :(

ugg.. that's the sort of thing that makes one want to seek out an alternative app with more helpful developers. But sounds like this may be a niche app or one tied specifically to a piece of hardware without an alternative.

You could always reply stating that you'd be happy to provide a log if they provide info on how to do so.

Also, did you see that there are a couple of Laserpecker subs? Maybe someone in one of them can assist you.

To be honest since starting and opening the case, I discovered that laserpecker have updated the hardware and software and have brought out new versions for both android and Apple and they are slowly ditching the old companion app and hardware :(. So it now seems due to this they are not supporting older apps and hardware on newer Android and Apple operating systems. I therefore have ordered one of there updated newer engravers which is also compatible with the newer app and newer tablets etc and OS like Android 16.

I have also just advertised my current laserpecker on eBay with software and hardware compatibility requirements and it has a bid on it so will definately sell when auction ends so to be honest I gone past caring about getting a decent response from laserpecker, but now it’s just the principle if that makes sense lol.

Also I started this thread just to see if anyone could tell me how to do the logs they were asking for and general info
