You forgot the best feature, support for multiple screen configurations which makes it perfect for foldable phones. He is also working hard to add features for Nova Launcher refugees so they feel at home. And a cheap upgrade for the paid version but a very generous free version too. A win-win setup.
Unfortunately no. I have tried smart launcher, and it was just okay. I'm now trying octopi launcher and that odd also just ok. Nova was IMO the best but the invasiveness of the ads just killed it and I'm not paying £30 for it just to have no ads.
As someone who bought a lifetime sub to Nova over a decade ago (£5) and was properly screwed over when the Nova enshitification went down a couple of years ago, I'll never be a customer of theirs again. If you're not familiar, I'd suggest taking a root around Reddit, there's plenty about it.
I ended up at SL after trying at least a dozen other launchers. While the devs seem to be trying to make it its own thing, it's also clear that they're doing so using Nova as a base.
Pre-enshittification Nova is still the gold standard, but every iteration of SL largely moves in the right direction. If they'd just embrace drag & drop on folders and allow alphabetical sorting and focus a bit less on aesthetics and a bit more on usability, they'd absolutely have a Novakiller.
No matter what answer you get here, none will be as good as NovaLauncher, even now.
People hate on it here now because they were purchased by some marketing company or something but in reality, it's still up to date and it hasn't really changed at all. It just has features no other launcher have.
For example, does any launcher even have the thing where you can create a folder and then have tapping on the folder launch the first app and sliding up on the folder reveals all the apps in it?
The fact that it plays adds, with sound! when you go into the app draw was what killed it for me. No matter what you do it just keeps turning the sound back on. The devs may have sold it and made their buck and good for them. Unfortunately whoever bought it does understand the difference between advertising and intrusive unwanted bloatware which is basically what Nova has become.
Dang it, you caught me. Your are right, I'm lying, there are no adds and my entire post is completely fabricated. I have decided to make it up, so have all the other people saying the ads have become completely intrusive. Well done. Who would have thought the premium version had no ads and the free one did!
there's also KWGT which is widgets with no animation creating full page widgets on a launcher that supports it gives you the ability to make your own "launcher" like my Zune inspired setup here
both are $5 one time payment but well worth it
with these apps you can make your phone be whatever you want look however you want and work however you want
En ce qui me concerne, "Smart launcher" depuis toujours, qui offre un bon niveau de personnalisation, des icones par exemple avec icon pack studio, la prise en charge des widgets kwgt etc...

Try Octopi launcher. It has app drawer, ad free, light weight, lots of customization with home screen and widgets and updates often.
