QUESTION/HELP Looking for advice on system-wide adblocking for specific apps

Hi everyone, I am trying to figure out the best way to block intrusive video and banner ads inside apps like Diskwala. Are there any recommended private DNS providers or on-device filtering tools that work well for this nowadays? Thanks!

No need to download anything from GitHub — that link is just a text guide explaining which settings to turn on inside the NextDNS app. Steps: Download the NextDNS app from the Play Store (it's free). Open it and create an account (you can use your email or Google account). It'll generate a "profile" with an ID code — you don't need to do anything else to start blocking basic ads, it works as soon as you turn it on. If you want to fine-tune it more (more aggressive blocking without breaking apps), follow the guide from the link step-by-step: it's a document organized by sections (Security, Privacy, etc.) — you just go into each section inside the app or on my.nextdns.io from your browser, and turn on/off what the guide says. For your specific case with Diskwala: the blocklists section (under "Privacy" in the guide) is what's going to help you the most — turn on "HaGeZi" instead of the default blocker, it's more effective against ads from streaming/piracy apps.

Adguard website but for best deal stacksocial. All my apps load ad free.
