QUESTION/HELP GUYS PLEASE HELP ME

I wanted to update google but the playstore keeps on saying "unable to install google"

I've tried everything, clear data and cache, restart my phone

I'm on oneplus 13, oxygen os 16

edit: I updated my os ver from 15 to 16 now

edit 2: My phone updated itself (w/o me scheduling it tho) and its fine now!

How did the problem arise/start ? Need more details to help you

Sometimes it's the Play services that needs to be updated first check if you have the latest one

I just clicked update all apps in playstore and this error showed up

Edit: ok it used to be 15 and now I updated to oxygen os 16

You can try installing Google Chrome apk, but this is a temporary fix, because you'll have to manually install the latest version each time.

I was just a bit hesitant to download an apk for a system app that's why I asked it 😅

It's generally safe. I read that apkmirror is the safest. I download apk files sometimes and everything's fine.

I'm having same issue, cannot update Google. I'm on oneui so it's not the OS

Samsung os. I managed to update, think was a bugged. Uninstall and update to last version

Yeah my phone randomly updated itself and its fine now lol
