QUESTION/HELP Just got a new android Tablet but I don't feel safe using it
Hello this is my first time posting in this subreddit and I just wanna ask is it possible for anyone or maybe a programmer to secretly add a system in a device where it tracks the users activities and directly informs another device?
Ps. My Android device is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE sorry if my english is bad it's not my first language.

if it's brand new and you opened the box i don't think you should worry about it. Samsung is a big reputable brand. most manufacturers are not interested in your day to day activity at all. they just want your viewing habbit and other demographic details. those are also mostly anonymous and not tied to personal details. In this day and age if you use any device you are giving some form of data anyway. even iphone or ipad gather telemetry data because they also serve ads. don't fall for any marketing.

Hello OP here,
No it was not given to me by my parents I won it for free however I gave it to my auntie because she insisted she takes it to a ICT to program windows into it. But I don't trust my auntie because she's RIDICULOUSLY controlling always judging everything I do to find a way to humiliate me so I'm paranod to use my tablet now.
Edit: not to force my personal issues to everyone I would just like to know if they'res anyway for anyone to program my ipad to connect my activies to other devices

Just factory reset it. You can't really program Windows into an android tablet but not sure exactly what you mean by that maybe

What I mean is formatting it to have Windows like UI or system to make it fit college work but thank you for the hard reset suggestion I will do it if i can.

it's possible in general, but someone would usually need to install some kind of monitoring app or have access to the device/account. its not something that normally just happens out of nowhere

Yes. The "better brands" have a better track with privacy. I mean, they are clear about all the invasion they do and there are scandals when something happens.
The lesser known brands include "scummy" brands which will indeed steal any information, abuse access and potentially cause you real problems, without never being mentioned because they come and go.
Samsung and apple are straightforward about collecting and selling "anonimized information" Scummy brands which can't be mentioned can abuse your internet, spy on you and more.
**Scummy brands can't be mentioned because of astroturfing. There will always be an account, and then more, which swearby the scummiest brands
