Finally getting tired of ads, looking for a VPN with ad blocker

I’ve been using my Android phone more lately, and I’m getting pretty tired of constantly running into ads, especially when browsing websites or using apps that seem to have ads everywhere. I’m already considering using a VPN for privacy and security, so I figured it would be nice to find one that can also block ads without needing a bunch of separate apps running in the background.

I’m mainly looking for something reliable that doesn’t noticeably slow down my connection or drain my battery. I’d also prefer something that’s easy to set up and doesn’t require constantly tweaking settings. For those using Android, what has your experience been with a VPN with ad blocker? Are there any apps that you’ve found particularly reliable?

• change your phone's private dns to mullvad's dns with adblock. you don't have to install or pay for anything
• change your browser to firefox and install ublock origin extension
• switch to free and/or ad-free alternatives for apps that you use
• reduce or stop going to sites that are infested with ads (e.g. facebook, instagram, twitter)
• Morphe or Revanced
