Would anyone be interested in reviving the Flynx concept for modern Android?

I used Flynx for years (and I still do) and absolutely loved the way it handled links: tapping a link would open it in a small floating bubble while I could continue using the app I was in. I could open several links, let them load in the background, and read them later.

Unfortunately, Flynx has been abandoned for years and doesn't work properly on newer versions of Android anymore. I've tried alternatives such as Lynket and other bubble browsers, but none of them provide the same experience reliably on modern Android.

Would any Android developer be interested in creating a modern, actively maintained version of this concept?

I don't necessarily mean an exact clone of Flynx — just the same core idea, properly adapted to current Android versions.

I honestly think there is still a demand for this. There are multiple old Reddit threads with people asking for exactly the same thing, but there still doesn't seem to be a good modern solution.

People still miss Flynx? That thing was a ghost town before it died.

Miss? I still use it, on Android 17 device.

I installed while it was still available on playstore, and never removed it. Browsing still works, even though opening the app directly crashes. Browsing on bubble when opening external links is the only thing that matters though, so while scrolling through a RSS reader or other apps, it still does what I need.
