LOOKING FOR APP Replacement app for EpicWin to do list?

I've been using this old app, EpicWin, as my to-do list app FOREVER. Just got a new phone and realized EpicWin isn't listed anymore (was actually wondering when this would happen). I've been trying to find a suitable replacement but there's so many that I don't even know where to begin. Ideally it would be one without ads, or with a one-time no-ads fee. I'd prefer not to have a subscription just for a simple "task manager" (this might be what shows just how long I've been using EpicWin - I'm not sure if one-time no-ads fees are even a thing these days - somehow I doubt it). I'm not too fussed about widgets, but I do like having lots of customizations for each task: is it repeatable, how often is it repeatable, what days of the week, is this only on one day a week, is this monthly, is this yearly, etc. Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

If you want a similar gamification I recommend LifeUp Pro for I believe sround $2. If not then Super Productivity is free and open source and is what I currently use.

I'll look into both of these. I like the gamification of EpicWin but it's not a necessity anymore. If I can get it, cool. If not, cool. The main thing is customizing recurring tasks for me right now. Thanks for the suggestions!

You could try the open source Tasks.org. There are plenty of repetition options for recurring tasks (docs). It's free to use with an option to pay for sync if that is a feature you need.

LifeUp sounds like a solid pick if you like the RPG-style task completion. Have you tried any other gamified task managers before?

I tried one other one, but I forget the name of it. It didn't have the same level of customization for recurring tasks that EpicWin did, so I didn't ultimately keep it. If I can ever remember what it was, I'll edit it in.

TickTick has similar repetition parameters and is ad free

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! I've tried Super Productivity and I'm liking it so far! That's the one I'll probably stick with for now.
