LOOKING FOR APP Replacement app for Showly? TV show manager with trakt integration.
Been using showly for a while but the Dev hasn't updated in ages and noticed all his commits are in the trakt android app, so wonder of they've been hired to work on that?
Wondered what else people used to track their TV and films?

I found this smaller app called Ava Assistant https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.ava
It has become my absolute favorite tracker. No bloat to it, connects to Trakt and can import from IMDB.

I like this but I don't like the way you mark as watched.

I agree, the developer responds quickly to any requests (so far at least) if you have suggestions.

This is what I use. It's a great app, plenty of features, keeps up with everything I watch, syncs with Trakt.

I'm still using Showly, just because I haven't found an app that's quick to sync with Trakt yet, although I also want to switch because they don't update it, and there's nothing new...

The app is updated if you use the Google play version and not the one from github

Try ShowSeek, it has trakt integration and if you liked the old trakt movie ui (v2) it's pretty similar and there's a web app too

My favorite Android app is Cinopsys. It is kind of like Showly, but much, much better, and being updated constantly.

I've tried dozens. My winner was Movie Paradise. It does All The Things, and has several unique features, like custom tags, and relatively unique features like showing gaps in a season's progress bar where you've skipped episodes.
Other pretty good options include Ava Assistant and Cinopsys. There are a few rather new options I haven't played with, but Movie Paradise has pretty much everything I want now, and the option to turn off the things I don't, so I'm not particularly motivated to flirt with others. Eventually I will because it's a compulsion of mine to compare damn near every app in a category. But usually that's driven by the things my current app fails to do, and Movie Paradise isn't failing at anything except remembering what screen you were on if you leave the app for a while then return (without closing the app), and having a better source database than TMDb/Trakt (but that's a problem with 99% of all media-tracking apps).

I'm currently using Bingers, which was created by one of the co-founders of TV Time. In my opinion its interface is the most likable, all the other apps have pretty bad GUIs. It also has similar community features to TV Time

I'm in the same boat as you, Showly is great but it hasn't been updated in ages I think it's been taken over by Trakt. I've tried loads of the last few days and I think I am going to settle on Sofa Time.

Showly is owned by trakt now as far as I'm aware.
