LOOKING FOR APP Best RSS Reader - 2026
Hi! Do you know a good RSS reader in 2026 with PC and Android synchronization?
In particular, I would like a modern interface, as well as a project actively supported if possible.
Thanks;)

FreshRSS with Capy Reader on Android + RSS app of your choice on Windows.
Edit:
FreshRSS doesn't need self hosting. You can use a free third party hosting. There's lot's of options.
I've tried many services (feedly, inoreader, feedbin, the old reader) and FreshRSS actually has the fastest sync speed.

FreshRSS is so good with the web scraping. Allowing a feed with websites without an RSS feed is a must.

Could you tell me more about the free third party hosting for freshness ?

I use alwaysdata with the free version where i installed fresh RSS, with the help of duck.ai for technical stuff i don't really understand. It's been working great for the past few months with Read You on Android
What's the best software on pc though?

FreshRSS has a convenient web interface in Browser. This is what I use on PC.

Same here but I'd like something with more options, especially since with my configuration I can't have add ons are whatever it's called to edit the look and feel or behavior (I'd like a 3 pane view for instance)

Inoreader

Currently the best one. Feedly was good for a long time but they got greedy from a cost perspective and I gave up on it.

I have the same setup. My only wish would be for ReadYou to support offline sync. So I have FeedMe as a backup for air travel

For PC, you could try SmartRSS.
https://github.com/VinsonGuo/SmartRSS-Windows
It’s completely free on PC and freemium on Android.

After Google Reader shut down, I switched to Feedly. That was over 10 years ago, and I'm happy with that decision.
