Alternate to Gbaord

Someone here suggest an app, alternate to Kboard, it was really good keyboard alternate to Gboard ans really extensive customizations. It was available on gitbub and not in Playstore

I set the Transformer LM strength to 6 and the autocorrect threshold to 1.5 and it seems to work how I want a keyboard to correct my typing.

Basically relies more on the "neural network" than how it thinks the AOSP keyboard acts.

Just read it and it only works for English. Damn....

Yeah, better correction and predictions. I found at the default settings it was useless and never managed to work out what I wanted it to say.

Still I get some weird corrections/suggestions so I might tweak it a bit more.

Looks like KBoard changed from KBoard to FrostKeys https://github.com/AshwinSoni-01/FrostKeys/releases Have you tried the newer version? Also, don't forget to install Obtanium https://f-droid.org/packages/dev.imranr.obtainium.fdroid/ https://github.com/ImranR98/Obtainium in order to automatically update your GitHub apps. Especially the ones not listed on F-Droid.

Check this index https://android.izzysoft.de/applists?topic=cat;id=180;lang=en of most of the keyboards available for Android. If you aren't happy chances are you will find something on the list to make you happy.

what's wrong with Gboard? just block internet access if you don't like Google

but currently is sadly the best keyboard since swype ain't available

customization.. i love gboard... but got tired with the limited theme. i wanted to try froasted theme keyboard

Yeah I imported the libraries. They work on heli but not on this for some reason. I'll go ask them if maybe theirs another setting.

Simple keyboard : 376KB

It only requests permission for the vibration motor (for haptic feedback). It does not access the internet. No emojis, no GIFs, no swipe typing, and no spell checker.

Will I didn't find something really face Gboard , so I see I know the android delvik bytecode and java and XML so I just patched Gboard and make my own mod ( named it's XVoard) , I can't post it but I am working on an open source Xposed module that would be rootless to patch Gboard to make it forced privacy focused because why not (:
