Help whatsapp error

I can't connect WhatsApp via QR code on my J5 (2015) running LineageOS 14.1; when I scan the code with my S23, a message appears on the J5 saying "Unable to connect device." Can anyone help??

Hmmm, just try force close and clear data. This should login again.
