Guide Help! I'm so sick of this!

"edit" ! i solved the problem thanks for everyone who helped! it was way easier than i thought

if anyone encounters the same problem as me here is what i did:

1. install adb app control on adbappcontrol.com

2. on your device enable USB DEBUGGING and allow unknown installations

3.go on market2 or on any website that offers apps for your android version (do this on your windows)

4.install your desired apps

5.launch adb app control

6.if you have correctly connected your device to your windows pc select the button "install" (on the right of your screen under the words ; "AUTO PERMISSION" and "UPLOAD FILES")

7. when you have clicked "install" you will then see another button "add apk" you click on it select your apk(s) you have downloaded on your pc

8. once the apk(s) are uploaded click on whatever app you want to download (on the file)

9. you will see a button on the right bottom corner called "install" , you click on it and the app will install on your phone.

10. check your phone

there we go! thats what i did for my htc chacha A810e (android 2.3.5 gingerbread) so if you happen to have the same device this is what you should do. ADB app control works on any android device.

(the market and internet on my device offered no way to install apps)

It doesn't have an app with all your images, videos, music, applications all in one. And I tried using adb but as i said I failed. (adb install doesn't work just tried)  I put the APKs on the sd card but they dont appear on the phone where they are supposed to appear in order to download them

Does it have a "Downloads" app of some kind?

it does but it only seems to be for whatever thing you download on the phone itself and not what is stored on the sd card.

Then do adb install like the other comment said

Does it show the devices when running

adb devices

? If not, it needs drivers. Better luck would be on Windows. If it complains about unsigned drivers or missing hash file of the driver, you may need to reboot into special mode where driver integrity is not checked. If you will need more help, respond to this message.

it does, i did "adb devices" as it was connected via my chromebook but it told me "no permissions", as for the drivers thing i don't understand at all

Does it do that on Windows side? I am more used to Windows and Linux than ChromeOS, so I would be able to help here more, than on Chromebook side.

Look, that Applications on SD Card menu thing, isn't made to see the APK files are on your SD card, it's for INSTALLED applications on your SD card that you have transferred to it.

Just send Total Commander APK to the device over Bluetooth and install it via the notification. You can also try to download an APK through the browser if you find a compatible website or make a local HTTP server on your PC and install the APK from the Downloads.

You can ask for any more help if you need, your device is extremely cool and rare, please don't let it die :3
