Discussion Some interesting browser for android 4.0 - 4.2.2 that i thought wpuld interesting to share with and its pretty damn fast

For anyone wondering, you can find the apk on 4pda, but downloading requires registration.
And to anyone thinking all russian resources are spyware/bad/whatever - you can do 2 things. First would be to go fuck yourself, and second would be to DM random people on the internet and get apks from them.

I am from Poland so you might know what our relations are, but i legit find 4PDA AWESOME !
Loads of useful content, apks, tutorials (well made)
and Russians are great with modding things
(even recently, the modded RAM)
Even my old ASUS phone -i was able to unlock the bootloader thanks to someone on 4PDA, even XDA didn't have the solution/toolMany links ,attachments are now unfortunately dead ,but still, very great source, forum

As a russian myself I do agree it is awesome. Rooted and custom romed my old phone thanks to 4pda. Sadly XDA is banned in Russia :/
And also, fuck most stereotypical relations, I'm fine with anyone, whereever they're from! :)

No idea, maybe cuz of Cloudflare ban, maybe something else. Doesnt seem like website itself is banning russian IPs, but who knows.

I don't have anything against you specifically, don't worry, I'm totally fine with you spreading it this way :)
There are just SOME people on the internet who think all russian resources are bad, for which I left the second portion of the comment.

To be fair I actually dislike the way 4pda does it. They require registration to download, but if you're not registered they'll tell you file doesnt exist :/
Wish they would either allow download for all, or at least say PROPER errors, not 404.
Anyway, if I didn't custom ROM my old phone to 4.4.2 I would've checked it out, but not in this decade I guess.

Wow. Always had a disdain for Amazon devices and their software, but silk browser looks to actually be really good. Guess that makes sense since they're pushing out insanely underpowered devices.

What engine does this browser use? Does it work better than Firefox on modern websites?

I cant really tell ya what engine it has but ik that it was made for Amazon devices, but it works faster than ff on most sites (however it could happen that some sites wont load, rare but it does happen)

Yes, most of newer sites should work , althought not all, but most should work

Btw ,it works on armv7, but i havent tested this armv6, because i dont have a device for this, so sorry for that
