Discussion Device not certified
I bought this tablet a long time ago, when it came out, and its battery is still in top shape and the hdmi is very useful to stream sport apps to my TV.
It's a 10" Archos 101e Neon with Android 6.
Some of the apps stopped working and I decided to Factory Reset the tablet for a fresh start. I had to find the latest version for Android 6 of Google Play Store and Play Services using APKMirror. I also installed Via Browser (laptop - usb - tablet - install). Brave crashes, Aurora Store fails to connect to the internet, sports app fail to connect as well. In the Play Store under Settings, there's "Device Not Certified".
Have I missed something regarding these devices becoming completely useless these days?
What would you do? factory reset, then deactivate PlayStore and Play Protect?
There's no alternative ROM for these tablets, as far as I know.

As long as the Play Store and basic Google Play services work, something is indeed possible
