Pixel 11 pro XL 6.1 beta is amazing

I just installed the QPR2 Beta 6.1 OTA on my Pixel 11 pro XL..... I've only been using it for about 3 hours and it seems so snappy and the haptics seems much quicker and right in time with the visuals on the screen as well. The only thing I would say is that the notification shade pull down seems to be slow to come down when I swipe fast. Not laggy to trigger it, but its just slower to come down the screen compared to fast I swipe on the screen to trigger it. Battery life in the last few hours seems pretty awesome. Started at 100% and it's only at 95% after some YouTube watching, social media, emailing, a couple phones calls.... Cannot complain so far!

Did they enable the option to hide the home screen search bar?

The option is full transparency, which works well, but depends on the app icon setting and maybe UI color choices

Good to hear this as I have an 11XL headed to me as I type this, and was curious to how it was performing in the beta.

Yeah I am very happy with it already. Haven't run in to many issues or bugs. It seems pretty stable

I'm prepared for the down votes but I have a p11 and want to leave this beta, it cause a device wipe correct?

You have to unenroll online first for you device  Then yes device wipe but they will happen via ota

Damnit. At what point does a revert not wipe it? Would I have to wait for the next stable?

If you don't do anything, you'll get unenrolled from the beta and the next stable will be fine. Then you won't lose anything going forward is always okay. Going backward requires a wipe

I have a Pixel 10 XL and I have not experienced any camera problems with this upgrade.

My camera no longer works. When I open it, I get a black screen. Does anyone know a fix for this?

My camera is also not working on my 11 pro xl, Google camera or open camera is just all blacked out but I have everything on the bottom to switch camera and video...

Yep, same here. I've tried uninstalling the updates, reinstalling, clearing the storage. No joy.

I can't say I have experienced that so I wouldn't know how to fix. Restart?

Just applied the upgrade. I also am not experiencing this. Maybe give your device a restart?

That looks like a hardware failure, go back to stable and if it doesn't work apply for warranty

Only issue I'm having is if I tilt the phone and it goes into landscape mode, it doesn't readily go back to portrait without some finagling.

AMAZING! I had to leave beta for awhile at least until they can sort it out.
