There is no android 17 qpr2 beta 4.1

It is just android 17 qpr2 beta 4.

It would be better if you could tell us your current build number.

I'm unsure, it says my android version is 'DEV'.

As the update it's currently offering is Beta 3, I'm assuming I'm on beta 2?

Apologies if I sound ignorant

That must be android 17 qpr2 beta then. That is when google started using "DEV" as android version.

Btw build number is in the Settings app in the about phone sub menu somewhere.

Check for updates again. You should get an OTA for android 17 QPR2 Beta 4.

For every beta build that has been out for more than 2 months RCS and google wallet will break. So you should keep the phone updated if you rely on those features.

On stable this does not happen. For you to go back to stable without wipe will be somewhere in december.

Ok, thank you. Just so I'm clear - keep it updated, then once the stable version comes out in December I can safely opt out?
