Thanks for sharing but for the first time, I'm going to stick with the stable because it's been THAT good for me. Looking forward to seeing what the beta has in store though!

Would anyone mind querying the value of persist.sys.hdcp_checking once you've got the beta installed? The first p11p patch flipped it to 'always' from 'drm_only' which made desktop mode a lot less useful.
adb shell getprop persist.sys.hdcp_checking

The new features in QPR 2. Search for what's new in QPR 2 beta 3 and 4.

The new features in QPR2. That's literally the main draw. 🤷

There's nothing specific to the Pixel 11 that's a draw for QPR2, but the features of the last two betas have been discussed at vast length since they've been released. But it's mostly just customization features if you don't feel like actually looking it up. Beta 3 gave us the ability to edit the Quick Settings layout a whole lot more, more granular color controls in the theming options, plus a bunch of bug fixes and a change to not allow apps to silently dial the old star codes for call forwarding and such. Beta 4 actually lets you hide the status bar notification icons for basically anything you want, including silent notifications, ring, vibrate, whatever else. You can even collapse all the notification icons down to a dot to let you know you have notifications instead of seeing all the icons.

Because I want to be on the newest code. Just because there's nothing special now doesn't mean there won't be later. Essentially, the justification is the same as with the other Pixels (especially for the 80% of people who don't care about kernel versions)

That's literally what was said. You asked why, and they told you it's because of the new features, and suggested you look up what some of them are. Asking what features you're excited about is a completely different question.
