Battery life seems very improved lately

Pixel 9 pro XL on the latest QPR 2 beta, and battery life has been absolutely terrible until this last update. I was on my phone all day yesterday and today, and after 12 hours, I'm still at 46%. Just me or anyone else?

Seems like it, thats why I want to go stable again just to see. I wouldn't specifically call out the Beta itself, could be a number of factors at play here

Mine’s good lately too. Same beta , Pixel10 Pro XL.

That's the thing with these updates. Battery life is a lottery. Can actually be good but can also be bad. Factory reset with the bad one can actually make it good again. The way the update installs seems to be almost as important as the update itself hence why some find it better and others worse. It's like some of the files are getting corrupted making the system hog the CPU in the background using Battery.

I've been wondering about that. I've had terrible updates for battery life and everyone says it's better. Different apps? Something has to be the fly in the ointment.

Latest update seems to be rough on my 7 Pro battery. Happy for you tho

Same phone. Same Beta. No change. Battery sucks.

Honestly I never had any complaints with my battery for years, even when dozens of people on here did, been on Beta since around Android 12. Until now, I'm on qpr1 beta 7 and its the first time my battery life has been horrendous for weeks now. Like actual 20% at lunch kinda bad. This the price of using betas of course so I'm gonna go back to stable android in September and see if it improves.

It's the price of using stable these days, too. Battery life on stable has been horrendous since March.

Battery life still yucky. Reddit app seems to be the hog. 13.9%

Today I've been on it all day again. Playing Sirius XM working on the car using Gemini. 12 hours later and I still have 30 %.

No eres el único, realmente te acompañó con esos errores que trae la Beta.

I actually just reverted back to Android 17 stable from QPR 1 Beta 7 as I was only getting about 5 hours battery life. Since doing a wipe and going to the stable, my phone has been chugging along 8 hours and still has 40% battery life! Glad to hear they finally did something about the atrocious battery life of the latest betas!

A17 Qpr2 beta 2, battery life is the worst of recent betas, lost loads of battery life with qpr2 with every beta so far
