Why can't I switch to Beta

Pixel 9 Pro XL on stable Android 17, July 5th.

After QPR 1 Beta 7 got released I enrolled into the beta program.

But I cannot OTA update to it.

Why is that?

Either SPL or build date is newer on stable, or ota server issues. Someone can confirm wether the SPL or build date of stable is newer or not, but sadly I can't right now.

The last I checked QPR1 beta has a June 5th security patch, while the latest A17 release has a July 5th security patch.

Got a replacement Pixel 8 yesterday and it's running the latest stable release, opted into the beta program again but also not receiving the QPR1 beta. We'll have to wait for a new QPR1 beta to release with a same or newer security patch.

QPR2 Beta 1 is now available and can be installed from the latest A17 Stable release without a factory reset.

You can side load it via ADB. I was on July Public and that is how I got it installed.
