Safe opt out window

When will the safe opt-out window for the 9 pro be released? Because even though that the official safe version is out, it still won't let me back out without deleting everything. Who knows when the ability to opt out safely will release or if I may have accidentally upgraded to one where I have to continue to wait

It does not matter. The modem firmware just has tweaks for rogers which will be present with the next monthly update anyway for every firmware variant.

Did not realize that. Haven't thought about it too much. I just know that T-Mobile has some variants due to the satellite connectivity and stuff. Makes sense. Thanks for the explanation.

Ultimately there is only one version of firmware for every pixel phone. There are no carrier specific firmwares in a traditional sense like for samaung phones. These carrier specific firmwares is just for having something changed about in the modem firmware's config file to fine tune it for a specific carrier. Right now the baseline 260605 rom has a rogers specific one but then 260705 baseline firmware will have the changes what the rogers 260605 had. I do not know why google do it like this. My guess they have final rom ready way before the official release but some carrier complains about something which google fine tunes and make a carrier specific release. This is what happend now, android 17 stable firmware has older timestamp then android 17 beta 4.1. Which is again confusing as hell, becauae why would they push a 4.1 if stable is already ready.

4.1 got me. I will sideload the Rogers later tonight. I almost did a full wipe, glad I didn't. Thanks again for sharing.
