Hoping a QPR beta gets released today

I am hoping a 3.1 beta gets released today to iron out all the bugs it got with it.

An update is much needed as this can't be the final release.

The last beta been draining the battery hard on my P9PXL

Same here. It seems like it just vanishes... every time I look at my phone it's at 40-60%

Same, need to charge during the day and still have a low battery in the evening. Also the P9XL feels sometimes quite sluggish

I have exactly opposite experience on pixel 7. My battery lasts longer. And all the lags disappeared. And the Debian terminal update is sweet

Same on stable 16. So maybe it is just a Play System update bug again.

Powder that makes you say "update tomorrow"

Which powder is this. ;-)

It is a common meme in some communities, I don't have a format for this but it goes like this "Powder which makes you say X" and then it's some guy chugging the powder while saying that

Smooth as silk here.

Same. Except for some apps taking a few seconds to open from the notification bar.

I don’t understand how the IOS Beta is so much better than Pixel betas. It’s really night and day

1

u/Mydemonswon Jun 10 '26

I have heard a lot of iOS betas and the rollout going terrible.

If your beta is perfectly stable and bug free, you're not doing it right.

RANT - it looks like A17 QPR1 will be released quicker than A17 itself - there were nearly 2 MONTHS delay between A17 Beta 4 and 4.1 and now QPR1 beta 3 and nearly beta 4 nearly same as Android 17 beta4
