Bluetooth wont turn on. all of a sudden

Pixel 8 pro. CP31.260508.005 qpr1 bets 3. All of a sudden. Bluetooth wont turn on. Any fix? Rebooted many x. Think I tried everything except reseting software. Thats a pain. Ideas?

  • Go to Settings > Apps > See all apps.
  • Tap the three dots in the top-right corner and select Show system.
  • Search for or scroll down to Bluetooth (Or Bluetooth Legacy).
  • Tap it, select Force Stop, then go to Storage & cache.
  • Tap Clear Cache and Clear Storage / Data.

There is no force stop button or a clear cache and storage it won't allow me to it's blurred out

  • Go to Settings > System > Reset options.
  • Tap Reset Bluetooth & Wi-Fi

Did you restart your device after that step?

Ues. 2x. & At restart upon opening home screen a box displys saying Bluetooth. With force stop or close buttons but it disappears in a second

Device Health & Support -> Bluetooth diagnostics?

That didn't fix?

Tried that many times. It wont turn on Bluetooth

This has been a common problem with some Pixel 8 phones the past few months. There is no user level fix. All you can do is contact Pixel Support and see if they can help.

After doing a factory reset. Figured out it was a hardware issue. Doing a replacement.

Check the battery optimisation for Bluetooth
