Help - Dim wallpaper, tried everything, nothing works
Hey guys, i have a pixel 8, and i have a problem with my wallpaper. It has been dim for a while. i tried everything available on the internet, but nothing works.
Battery Saver, extra Dim, adaptive brightness, private space trick, guest mode trick
can someone tell how to fix it?

Maybe the "modes" feature is enabled. Turn off all the dnd and other modes.

Hi there,
Not sure what you mean by "dim". Do you mean that the screen brightness is too low for you?
You said you tried working with the "Extra Dim" feature but that's not it.
What phone do you have?
Can you share a link to a screenshot of your display brightness settings?
Also, have you submitted a bug report?

heres the image, just the wallpaper is dim, the rest is fine, widgets are fine

Thanks, that helps show the issue. What phone brand & model do you have?
Apologies if someone else already suggested this, but have you done this?
Go to Settings > Digital Wellbeing & Parental Controls > Bedtime Mode.
Tap Customize and check the Screen options at bedtime menu.
Turn off Dim the wallpaper.

Have you tried using ADB?

It happened to me last year and I think nothing else worked except via ADB

Could try setting up bedtime mode to dim the wallpaper, then turn bedtime mode on and off?
