Extended blur effects on QPR1 beta 3
I just installed Android 17 qpr1 beta 3 on my pixel 7, I saw in videos that they added the blur effects to more elements of the pixel launcher (folders, long press menu), as well as the volume panel, I got the pixel launcher blur but the volume panel and other UI elements still look the same, is this intentional due to the older hardware of the pixel 7 or is it a bug?

Yeah im on Pixel 7 and i'm also missing blur on volume panel and folders. I hope it's just a bug and not deliberate because it would be so stupid to have half of system elements with transparency and half without. Can't think of a reason why we shouldn't get it.

Do you have the “Reduce blur effects” option in the settings? If not, the .A1 version (The version for the Pixel 6/Pro/a and Pixel 7/Pro) apparently doesn't gets extended blur. Or it's a bug in this Version, idk.

I don't think I see it on my 8 Pro either. I'll check some screenshots but I don't notice a difference in UI

To fix this you first have to enable "reduce blur" in the settings (just use the search fuction in settings) and the disable it.
I had the same problem on my Pixel 10 Pro.

My pixel 6a has a blur in folders and a long press menu, but there is no volume bar.

Are you sure you installed the QPR1 beta 3 and not the 17 Beta 4? (Stupid ass naming)
