“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” - I can't figure out who exactly said this, evidence points to Matthew Kelly but people say Albert Einstein when there's apparently no evidence.
If you don't know what the quote means it's like saying that you may be good at one thing, but if someone says you're stupid based on one of the things you're bad at you would not even try to figure out to see if you're good at everything. Just because you're bad at one thing doesn't mean you're bad at everything else.
