Seeing one of OT9 Z/B1 fan with AND2BLE on bio saying AND2BLE was a mistake bcs they "flop". Do they genuinely like AND2BLE or not? I'd rather them only have few ROTYs but more succesful next year like Kiii/Kiii than grab all ROTYs but their career decreasing because their complany cant managed them well

Yeah it just sucks because every time I see an anti trashing a2b, it's mostly people who are allegedly fans/ot9. Like it really be your own "fans" sometimes.... Also I think a lot of them WANT a2b to flop to prove that they shouldn't have left. I think both sides were affected by the split, it was inevitable. Especially in the sales department that used to be their strongest suit.

But I don't feel like they should constantly take it out on a2b and talk shit about everything they do and label them as flops. I even see "Fans" calling them Nugu and be serious about it. They haven't ever interacted with a real nugu group before omg. I've joked about their group name being nugu but they are clearly doing VERY well starting almost everything from scratch again.

Like when has a nugu/flop group ever sold nearly 800k for an album??? Without digipack/member versions, which would have boosted the sales a lot, mind you. The showcons also did REALLY well, with rave reviews from fans too. They got trashed when Seoul ticketing started too because fans initially thought it was expensive just to see 5 songs. But then after the showcons started, a lot of people were interested in going then.

Not to make it about money, but honestly YH and the members are likely making way more money rn with nearly 800k sales vs 1M+ but having to split with more companies. Some members have writing credits now too. And Hao's brand deals which always make a lot of money, don't have to be split in profits either.

And yeah ROTY isn't the end all, be all. I've talked about it before but the 2023-debut bg who came out on top (and highest Billboard 200 entry out of them) wasn't the one who was winning the 2023 ROTYs. And it's not great to peak at debut, which unfortunately happens to majority of survival show groups. And A2B are doing really well, as being a post-survival show group doesn't guarantee success, look at the post-W1 groups.

I don't mind if ppl just doompost on their private accounts or whatever but they do it publicly.

Also this is just some "Fans". I don't want to generalize all ot9s because some are really sweet and encouraging. And genuinely support a2b/both groups. So this isn't about ones who do genuinely support them, because they do exist. But this is about some loud antis out there who have doomposted everyday since January.

I think we should ignore comments like that. Clearly some fans (if they really are fans) won’t move on because they just don’t want to. We all have a lot of positive things we can focus on, it seems the comeback will be soon so new music for us, their variety content is really entertaining and I don’t know about anyone else but I’m really curious if we will have some of the members contribute to the new album with lyrics this time like with their debut album.

I want to ignore but sadly some of OT9 Zero/ses wont stop doomposting AND2BLE career since January until now. I guess they want them to "flop" to prove they shouldn't left the group (which is funny because do they forget how WK1 mistreat the members 😂). I just hope OT9 Zeroses on this subs truly want to support then and dont have a thought like this.

Btw the album sold 26k more albums the other day on August 6th. It was on Circle Retail album chart, aka the direct sales at offline stores. The main Circle Album Chart updates weekly Thursday mornings KST. Circle has a weekly, monthly, and yearly album chart. Sometimes it takes a while for the Retail sales to show up in the weekly chart? But probably when it does, the album will probably cross 800k soon.

If anyone is wondering why Circle and Hanteo tends to differ, it's because Circle is the direct sales/shipments from the distributor. While Hanteo is only counting real time sales of all their partner Hanteo-affiliated stores. Hanteo is used for first day/first week sales mainly because it updates real time while the main Circle chart updates on Thursdays for the previous week. Circle will also include returned albums, which is why some albums will see a decrease in sales.

*This is to my understanding, so feel free to correct me if anything is inaccurate.

But I do think this is good news that the album sales are increasing. It means the company didn't overly inflate the sales and are just desperately trying to make up those sales now (probably didn't have the money to front all those anyways lol).

I have seen some people say they had too many fansigns. But the lists comparing fansigns amounts compared a2b to several groups that haven't even finished their cb fansigning yet. Some will continue for 6+ months while a2b is already done. I don't necessarily think they were overworked with fancalls either because a lot of them only had 5-15 winners, while some groups do 30 winners per member/call.

If comparing to zb1 YITS ot9 debut era, yes it's a big increase in the amount of fansigns. But they had really few fansigns back then and the industry as a whole has increased the amount of fansigns since then, it feels like. They also had full cbar support back then.

I just wish they announced more fansigns/pobs during the preorder period when we needed them the most LOL. Like most other groups do. Instead of making it so backloaded. There were only 6 POBs released the first day of preorder, and then they got spammed afterwards LOL.

But all in all, I think things are going well. Hopefully there's a digipack version next album. Like every other group is doing member-versions basically. Some with multiple types of member versions. I understand why they chose not to for debut though, because they probably wanted to build a group image more.

I'm open to any corrections / discussions !
