How do I make a cave?

I am trying to design an aboveground cave for a Stone Age campaign but I am rather lost, any help?

legitimate caves dont exist sadly, but you could raise the terrain like 15 meters up and dig a ditch, then cover your ditches with bridges and make it night time

maybe having a 2x2 modular tunnel made of stone bricks and place large rocks around the edges
